Greetings from Navarino Nature Center!
We are contacting you to ask for your assistance with a project that will be starting shortly at Navarino. The “Outdoor Education Resource Facility” consists of a 40 ft by 48 ft workshop for hands-on educational workshops ranging from gardening, willow crafts, walking stick carving, bench building, rain barrels, to meeting space before canoe trips on the Wolf River, and base of operations for the trolley / wagon tours for the senior safari and public programs. The other component will be a 102 ft by 60 ft equipment area to house large educational equipment including two trolleys, touring wagons, canoes and trailers, cross-country ski trail equipment and more, headquartering all of the nature centers large educational equipment in one location, rather than three offsite locations.
How can you help?
There are plans for a donor wall plaque to acknowledge donors, supporters and grants that are related to this project, similar to the Green Building donor plaque in the lobby of the nature center. (Pictured to the Right)
