Located around the Nature Center is a sheltered picnic area, an amphitheater, an ADA-accessible trail system, a boardwalk, a nature playscape, and an all-season educational building that is accessible to people of all abilities. Also located around the Center are rustic restrooms, parking areas, and pollinator gardens.

Environmental education programs are offered to grades pre-K through 12th. School programs relate to current studies and are adapted to support the Wisconsin Educational Standards.
