About the event
Mandala means circle. It is an art form comprised of geometric patterns and symbols. Mandala painting is a symbolic picture of the universe. The circle represents wholeness, totality, infinity, timelessness and unity. You can paint any item with a mandala design; paper, rock, fingernails, cardboard, wood, slate, gourds, ect.
Mandala art can help people feel calmer and more peaceful, slow down their breathing and heartbeat, and provide a sacred space to meet their Self.
In this introductory class, you will learn the basics of Mandela while creating your version of a cement paver and a slate coaster. Then you can take that knowledge and the sky’s the limit!
All of the supplies and materials will be supplied. This will be a fun evening for both adults and children to create this art form.
