***Evening with the Sandhill Cranes and the SkyDance Woodcock Program have been rescheduled due to unfavorable weather conditions. Sandhill Crane program is now on Wed. April 14th at 6pm and Woodcock Program on Thurs. April 15th at 7pm. More information below***
Tundra Swans appear to have moved out of the area since there have been no recent sightings of them reported.
Sandhill cranes are roosting in Pike's Peak Flowage and eating in the surrounding farm fields through out the wildlife area.
Remember that these are birds that are preparing for their nesting season so they are always moving around.

Purchase a Brick Paver in the Nature Playscape Area
Navarino Nature Center will be adding a Nature Playscape area for young children to explore their imagination, sounds, touch, and just have natural fun. The Playscape will continue to be developed into the fall of 2020.

The lobby and restrooms are open to the public, all other rooms are locked down until further notice. Staff has implemented advanced cleaning procedures, and is following COVID-19 plans / guidelines.
All trails are OPEN for public use, please check hunting seasons or talk with nature center staff.
